We put a name on the box.

Buying technology in this market has a familiar shape. You compare a dozen near-identical listings, pick one on price, and a box arrives with no name on it — or a name that appears nowhere else. It works, or it doesn't. If it doesn't, there is nobody to go back to.

That's not a manufacturing problem. It's an accountability problem. When hardware passes through enough hands, no single hand is responsible for it.

Champion was built the other way around. We decide the specification, we import directly from the manufacturer rather than through layers of intermediaries, and we put the Champion mark on the product. That signature is the point: it makes us the party you come back to.

What that changes in practice

It constrains us. A brand can only carry products it is prepared to defend, so the range grows slowly and by decision rather than by opportunity. There are categories we could stock tomorrow and don't.

It also changes how the products relate to each other. The camera, the PoE switch that powers it, the memory card that records it and the adapter that runs it all come from the same place — so when something needs replacing, the replacement is a known quantity.
